USA Ready for Action at CHIO Aachen 2025:

Star-Studded Lineups Ready to Rock the World

It’s official—Team USA is headed to Aachen with serious firepower across eventing, jumping, and dressage. The U.S. Equestrian Federation just dropped its athlete-and-horse combos for the 2025 CHIO Aachen, and the roster is packed with household names, rising stars, and four-legged legends. The World Equestrian Festival, happening June 27th to July 6th in Germany, promises a high-octane celebration of equestrian sport—and the Americans are coming in hot.

Defender U.S. Eventing Team – FEI Nations Cup CCIO4*-S

The red, white, and blue dream team is locked in for the CCIO4*-S Eventing Nations Cup—and it’s a powerhouse lineup:

  • Will Coleman (Ocala, Fla.) & Off The Record – This seasoned Irish Sport Horse gelding, now 16, knows how to deliver under pressure. Groom: Erin Jarboe
  • Phillip Dutton (West Grove, Pa.) & Possante – A 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood backed by The Possante Group. Groom: Erin Deyo
  • Boyd Martin (Cochranville, Pa.) & Commando 3 – Holsteiner grit and American heart. Groom: Stephanie Simpson
  • Caroline Pamukcu (Springstown, Pa.) & HSH Blake – One to watch. This 10-year-old Irish gelding is packed with promise. Groom: Chloe Tehan

U.S. Jumping Team – CSIO5*

Talk about stacked—Team USA’s jumping roster is a who’s who of show jumping royalty. These five athletes are locked, loaded, and ready to take on the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup and the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen:

  • Kent Farrington (Wellington, Fla.)
  • Lillie Keenan (New York, N.Y.)
  • Laura Kraut (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.)
  • Aaron Vale (Williston, Fla.)
  • McLain Ward (Brewster, N.Y.)

With that much horsepower and experience in one lineup, the rest of the world better be paying attention.

Elegance. Power. Precision. Team USA’s dressage athletes are ready to light up the iconic Deutsche Bank Stadium with top scores and serious flair:

  • Ben Ebeling (Wellington, Fla.) & Bellena, a 2010 Hanoverian mare owned by Ann Romney. Groom: Maria Force
  • Kevin Kohmann (Wellington, Fla.) & Duenensee, a 2009 Hanoverian gelding from Diamante Farms, LLC. Groom: Rhianna Ounich
  • Kasey Perry-Glass (Wellington, Fla.) & Heartbeat W.P., a 2012 KWPN gelding owned by Diane Perry. Groom: Meghan Laffin
  • Jennifer Williams (Wellington, Fla.) & Joppe K, a 2014 KWPN gelding owned by Joppe Partners, LLC. Groom: Emma Tice

  • Callie Schott and Garant Fly To a Win in the MLSJ Palm Springs Grand Prix

    U.S. Rider Callie Schott and her partner Garant did not hold back in the jump-off at Desert International Horse Park. She and Garant were rewarded with the victory in the $340,000 1.60m FEI 5* Grand Prix by GoRentals in Thermal, California. "I think that was the fastest I've ever gone in my life," Schott said. "It was really fun.
