Solid Rock, a newly licensed 3-year-old KWPN stallion by McLaren x Tuschinski, has been partly sold to American investor David Wilson.
The colt will remain in The Netherlands as he begins his breeding and competition career.
Solid Rock, which was bred by E. Reemst, was originally named Sirendo KH. He is out of a Tuschinski x Rousseau x Inspekteur dam. At the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch in February, Solid Rock was presented by the owners' team Diederik van Silfhout, G. Rensink, Paul Jansen, and R. Prinsen.
The well-known Oldenburg sire McLaren, who is by Morricone x Sir Donnerhall, had four sons selected for Den Bosch, all of which were licensed, including Solid Rock.
The sale of Solid Rock was facilitated by Belgian horse dealer and Grand Prix rider Nico Nyssen in collaboration with Caroline Roffman.
David Wilson and his wife Alisa have extensive experience in the dressage sector, having been involved as riders and trainers for over 30 years. Recently, they expanded their business into sales with the launch of W Sales International. The young colt is currently in training with Dutch young horse rider Gerrel Vink, who will oversee his book of coverings this year and prepare him for the performance test.
