Emanuele Camilli, son-in-law of Paul Schockemöhle, took the last spot in the jump-off for the Grand Prix in Mexico and put all efforts into his ride.
On Chacco’s Girlstar, a descendant of Chacco-Blue, the Italian completed the course in just 42.99 seconds, clinching the victory and pushing Jörne Sprehe and her horse Sprehe Hot Easy, who finished in 43.31 seconds, to second place. Sprehe expressed her happiness with the result despite the near miss, noting this was her first time at the event in Mexico.
The podium's third position was achieved by Belgian rider Jerome Guery aboard Great Britain V, a horse that has overcome health issues to return to competitive form. Christian Ahlmann and his horse Dourkhan Hero Z secured fourth place, with Ahlmann expressing optimism about the horse's potential. Jana Wargers and Dorette OLD achieved fifth place, marking a successful conclusion for the German show jumpers in Mexico.
