Jake Evans and Effortlessly Cool lived up to their name—and then some—while cruising to the win in the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby 3' – Open at the 2025 Ocala December Show Series II – CSI3*.

From the moment they stepped in the ring, the pair brought that perfect derby blend of polish, expression, and just the right amount of flair. Effortlessly Cool floated around the course with his signature style, earning the kind of scores that made it clear the judges were fully on board.

Evans guided the stylish gelding through two standout rounds, highlighting his rhythm, brilliance, and easy jump that seems almost unfair to the rest of the field. It was one of those rides where everything clicked—smooth, confident, and seriously fun to watch.

A well-deserved win for a duo that continues to prove they’re anything but average… even if they make it look effortless.
