The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association has introduced the Antevy Family/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Grant, aimed at providing financial support for riders in the Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championship. The Antevy family funded the $5,000 initiative, intended to cover expenses for eligible participants attending the Championships.
Junior jumper's experience led to the launch of the grant
After competing in the 2025 summer Zone Team Jumper Championships in Traverse City, MIchigan, Orly Antevy said it was riding as part of team, beyond her triple-gold performance, the compelled her to pay it forward through the creation of the grant.
USHJA says grant will help remove barriers
The USHJA thanks the Antevy family for their contribution, highlighting the importance of this support in allowing aspiring athletes to overcome financial barriers to advance in show jumping.
Four-month application period starts Jan. 1
The grant application period begins January 1 and closes April 1, annually. It is targeted at USHJA members who are U.S. citizens, are in good standing, demonstrate a financial need, and are accepted participants in the Championships for the designated year.
Junior and Amateur athletes competing at the 1.10/1.15m and 1.20/1.25m levels are eligible for the Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships, a key stage within the USHJA Emerging Jumper Rider Program. This program serves as a gateway into the Show Jumping Athlete Pathway.
