Ireland's Robert Blanchette and Chardonnay Win Ocala CSI3* Speed Competition

Rider's 7th Win at World Equestrian Center in 2025, 4 on Chardonnay

Ireland's Robert Blanchette and Chardonnay won the $32,000 1.45-meter speed competition to open Ocala CSI3* Wednesday.

Robert and the 14-year-old mare maneuvered the course in 61.51 secs with no faults for the rider's seventh win at to log the pair's seventh victory at the World Equestrian Center this year, four of them on Chardonnay.

Gavin Moylan of Canada and Anton, 10-year-old gelding, were second on 62.73 secs. for the duo's highest placing since taking over the ride nine months ago.

Rowan Willis of Australia in his Big Tour debut on the 10-year-old Cape Town placed third on 62.78 secs.
