Revelation is an Irish Sport Horse registered gelding born in 2014. Bred by Matty Bourke, he is by the Holstein jumper Ars Vivendi out of a mare by Harlequin du Carel. He was acquired by his owners at the Go for Gold sale in Ireland and came to Jack in 2020 as a 6-year-old. His owners, Simon and Mags Hope, own Aston Mullins Stud in Buckinghamshire, breeding thoroughbreds for the track. They also own the event horse Claragh Olala, ridden by Jack at 4* level.
