“We are so excited to bring an international level of competition to The Colorado Horse Park for 2021 in partnership with LEG Shows & Events. It is a great facility, and we are so excited to bring the Split Rock Jumping Tour experience to the Denver area for the first time ever,” said Derek Braun, Founder & President of Split Rock Jumping Tour.
LEG Shows & Events is leasing The Colorado Horse Park for the 2021 season and is passionate about growing the hunter/jumper footprint in Colorado. “We are proud to welcome the Split Rock Jumping Tour to Colorado,” explained Marnye Langer, CFO and Managing Director of The Langer Group. “We decided to lease the facility in order to make needed facility upgrades, and we remain committed to doing everything possible to keep the horse community going and growing in Colorado.”
“Over the past week, we have started making serious upgrades to the footing in all competition and warm-up arenas,” added Charlotte Robson, Manager of the Colorado Division of LEG Shows & Events. “We are gearing up for a spectacular season and working hard to make significant facility enhancements. We look forward to continuing top equestrian sport at The Colorado Horse Park.”
The summer series starts in mid-June and includes Summer in the Rockies II through VI. Summer in the Rockies III and V will be WCHR weeks, featuring USHJA International Hunter Derbies. We finish off the year with the two-week fall series in September. Week II of the fall shows will host the ASPCA Maclay Region 6 Finals and the LEGIS League Medal Finals.
