At the end of July, the Rastede palace grounds in the North of Germany will host one of the biggest riding tournaments in Germany, also focussing on Oldenburger horse breeding.
The traditional tournament awaits an impressive amount of starters and horses: more than 100 competitions in dressage, jumping, cross country as well as driving will be held during the six days from this July 18th until 23rd. This variety makes the Rasteder Landesturnier pretty unique throughout Europe.
Many of the awaited 1000 rider and 2500 horses presenting the top of horseriding elite in Germany. The skid presented here varies from qualifications for the well-known Bundeschampionats up to Grand Prix, from Youth Champions up to the Oldenburger Championships. It also presents high-class driving tournaments as well as the Elite-stud-show of the Oldenburg breeding association.
Next to the elite of riding, the heart of „Rastede“ tournament stays with the regional participants. Taking part at the palace grounds in Rastede is the biggest seasonal highlight for the majority of them.
This mixture and variety of top-riders as well as rural, regional participants are creating this special character of the Rasteder Landesturnier.
